Very rare antique necklace from around 1890 - heart with wings, diamonds & sapphires:

An exceptionally rare and symbolic necklace from the period around 1890,

artfully crafted in the finest historical craftsmanship.

The centerpiece is a detachable heart pendantwhich is surrounded by a magnificent pair of Protective wings carried -

a motif that is extremely rare at the end of the 19th century and still

and still has great emotional depth today.

The Heart pendant is completely set with sparkling old diamonds in a pavé setting.

It can be easily removed and can also be worn individually on a chain - so the necklace offers two wearing options

the necklace can therefore be worn in two ways: romantically with wings or as a purist diamond heart.

The Wings are also richly set with diamonds and feature three beautiful blue sapphires as an enchanting color accent in the upper section
