The centerpiece is an impressive old-cut diamond of 1.55 ct (appraisal),

It is surrounded by an elaborate open-worked ornamental decoration of a total of 178 further diamonds 

(old-cut, octagonal and rose-cut), which together create a sparkling play of light - typical of the rich, geometric
