These beautiful antique stud earrings date from the early Art Deco period, around 1910-1915,

an era of transition between the playful elegance of the Edwardian style and the clear

the clear geometry of the emerging Art Déco.

They are an outstanding example of the fine goldsmith's art of the time -

entirely crafted in 14 carat yellow gold, platinum-plated on the front,

to emphasize the brilliance of the diamonds.

The earrings are long and gracefully crafted, with a total length of around 4 cm,

which gives them an elegant, slightly swinging movement.

The design is symmetrical and finely chiselled:

In the upper section, there is a delicately curved, fan-shaped ornament with

small rose-cut diamonds, which serves as the basis of the composition.

This is followed by elongated, slender intermediate elements with fine milgrain edges - the

the typical beaded edge that is so characteristic of early Art Deco and Edwardian jewelry.

Small, sparkling diamonds are set in these segments, partly in open-work frames,

in fine millegrain settings, which reflect the light perfectly.
