The exclusive jewelry shop Antiquina is located in the middle of the enchanting old town of Regensburg, at Tändlergasse 3 at the corner of Kramgasse, just a stone's throw away from Regensburg Cathedral in the medieval quarter of the "Kramer and Tändler".

As the name suggests, this used to be the location of the Kramer, traders and merchants who sold their goods.

The term “Interutensilia” was first recorded in 1279, which translated means “among the implements or utensils”.

A document from 1359 calls the medieval quarter “unter den Chramen”, which translates to “among the shopkeepers”.

In 1613 this alley was described as “Tandlmarkt”, which reflects the name of today's Tändlergasse.

The city map from 1808 still refers to today's Tändlergasse as Kramwinkel.

Only later generations understood these terms as small trade and trinkets.

When you enter the shop at Antiquina Tändlergasse 6, you immediately feel like you have been transported back a few centuries to the Middle Ages, when "used jewelry" and "second-hand goods" were sold by shopkeepers and merchants in this small-scale district.

In front of a mighty, re-exposed and restored medieval stone arch, you can discover display cases with the finest antique jewelry from the period from around 1750 to 1930 and vintage jewelry after 1930, as well as decorative silverware.

In addition, in the immediate vicinity, next to the Oskar Schindler House, there is also the historic house of Barbara Blomberg, the mother of the sea hero Don Juan de Austria, illegitimate son of Emperor Henry V, which also attracts numerous visitors.
