This elegant ring from the Art Deco period features a magnificent interplay of precious gold, platinum and fine diamonds. 

In the early 20th century, people increasingly turned to fine diamond rings.

Their purpose was to adorn a lady's hand and make it shine as elegant evening jewelry.  

This ring is just such a ring.  

The elongated shield shape is typical of the Art Deco style with its strict geometric forms.

This timeless, modern and elongated shape was extremely popular during the Art Deco era.

It is wonderfully suited to the placement of numerous diamonds. 

This ring is set with a diamond, which is the focus of the design. 

Surrounded by delicate millegriff technique, which impressively demonstrates the meticulous precision work of the period.  

Small diamond roses add small highlights to the white platinum cover of the ring.

The antique ring is crafted in 14-karat yellow gold and the top of the ring head in platinum, typical of the period. 

The ring is in excellent condition and shines with its sparkling diamonds.
