Geometric, flat shapes with interesting surface finishes dominated the world of jewelry in the Art Deco period. 

This delicate antique ring has a classic boat shape, set with a small diamond in the center.

Another popular element of Art Déco is the so-called "millegriffes" technique.  

Here, elaborate contour decorations are worked into the surface as hemispherical grains.

The surface of the ring head was worked with typical Art Déco elements using the finest goldsmithing techniques.

The ring expands around the stones to form a rectangular  shape set with diamonds.

The antique ring is crafted in solid 18-karat yellow gold and the top of the ring head is platinum-plated.

The antique and delicate ring is beautifully preserved.
