- Open text field 1: Antique cameo ring with angel motif
Goddesses or other decorative motifs such as putti were popular motifs for 19th century gem cutters.
We see a floating angel carved out of a hard stone by a master craftsman.
The charming angel was painstakingly carved by hand.
The simple rectangular setting flatters the ring head and allows the dancing putti to appear in all its glory.
The little angel joyfully distributes roses. The rare antique ring is crafted in solid 9-karat yellow gold.
The ring is wonderfully preserved. A rare piece of jewelry from the period around 1880/90 from England.
