This beautiful, sparkling and antique bangle dates from the Art Deco era around 1920/30,
the first third of the 20th century.
It is crafted in 14 carat white gold and set with sparkling diamonds .
The bangle is characterized by its filigree and elegant look , which is typical of Art Deco.
The hinged bangle with safety eyelet is open-worked on the front and the centrally placed diamond weighs approx. 0.3 carats,
surrounded by numerous other diamonds. The diamonds are cut in the old cut and have a fantastic fire.
They are surrounded by the finest millegriff technique and hand-crafted saw work.
Saw-cutting and millegriff are two artisanal techniques that were frequently used in Art Deco jewelry design.
In Art Deco, millegriff was often used in combination with saw work to create pieces of jewelry with a particularly detailed and filigree look.
