Heart shapes are extremely rare to find.
The heart on the front shows a turquoise in the middle, surrounded by ten small freshwater pearls.
The edges of the amulet are decorated with baroque-style raised scrolls.
The back of the medallion is smooth and also very finely and discreetly chased.
This antique medallion is gold-plated brass and dates from around 1870/80.
The matching fine chain has a spring ring and is also gold-plated.
