CORNFLOWER BLUE

This dreamlike pendant delights with the color of its centrally set cornflower blue sapphire.

Its intense color flatters the surrounding freshwater pearls, set in a round wreath in yellow gold with a stylized blossom, also richly set with enchanting fine freshwater pearls.

Crowned by a stylized shamrock.

This piece of jewelry was created in England in the late 19th century. At this time, yellow gold in combination with richly set freshwater pearls was the absolute trend.

This beautiful and antique pendant dates from around 1885/90.

The pendant is made of 9 carat yellow gold, the chain is also made of 9 carat yellow gold, fitted with a spring ring.

The sapphire is approx. 0.5 carats in size and is characterized by its beautiful cornflower blue color.

The pendant is beautifully preserved and shines with a centrally placed sapphire framed by numerous small pearls.
