Product information "TRADITION MEETS MODERNITY"

After Art Nouveau around 1900, a new era seemed to have dawned:

the era of Art Deco. These cuff buttons, for example, are representatives of the austere Art Deco style. They were created in England around 1920.

The playful and soft shapes of Art Nouveau no longer seemed contemporary and modern enough and  were therefore passé.

Modern meant straightforward geometric  coolness with abstract, strict shapes. The transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco was gradual.

These  austere Art Déco  cufflinks are timeless "classics" that can often be found as reproductions today.

They are very finely chased in alternating detail. The back is smooth and shiny.

The antique angular and austere cufflinks are of the highest quality and are crafted from solid  new carat yellow gold.

They are hallmarked on the back with 375, which stands for 9 carats, and other English hallmarks.

The cufflinks are in wonderful condition and come from the royal court supplier REID & SONS limited from Newcastle, England, even in their original box.

An unusual gift for men!
