THE ROUND MUST GO INTO THE SQUARE
- Order number: r1898
- Open text field 1: Art Deco ring white gold
Geometric, flat shapes with interesting surface finishes dominated the world of jewelry in the Art Deco period.
This delicate antique ring has a classic rectangular shape, set with a small diamond in the center.
Another popular element of Art Déco is the so-called "millegriffes" technique.
Here, elaborate contour decorations are worked into the surface as hemispherical grains.
The surface of the ring head was chiseled with typical Art Déco elements using the finest goldsmith work.
The ring expands into an elongated rectangular shape around the diamond.
The antique ring is crafted in 18-karat white gold and is beautifully preserved. It shines with its great quality.
A dream piece from the Art Deco period around 1920.
